What Trespass Say:
Lightweight, protective and incredibly comfortable, the Rocco men’s waterproof jacket is perfect for long, activity filled days in the outdoors. Designed with a Tricot lining, this jacket will be easy to throw on when heading out as it benefits from a waterproof and windproof outer which also has taped seams, meaning you won’t have to worry about dreary weather slowing you down.
Plus, with a breathability rating of 5000mvp and a ventilated back yoke, fresh air can easily penetrate the material helping to keep air circulating inside the jacket. The adjustable grown on hood is ideal if you would prefer a jacket without a hood as it can easily packed into the collar and taken out when needed.
Designed with low profile zips and a simplistic design, the rocco bridges the gap between style and function to create an excellent outdoor jacket. Wear this men's waterproof jacket with a pair of waterproof trousers, a rucksack and a microfleece for a combination which will excel when put to the test.

On test with me:
I’ve taken this jacket through several expeditions and through its first winter. Safe to say I’m very glad I bought it and for a waterproof jacket its very, very cosy but the fleece lining has problems, which I’ll discuss further below.
This jacket has been through two big expeditions, 5 days in Wales, both times it rained and neither of these times did I get wet or even notice the damp.
So it certainly works on the waterproof front! The added bonus is the windproof which was very good when up on the Cambrian Mountains in summer and the Pembrokeshire coast later on.
The jacket itself has little stretch in the material but the cuffs, hood and base of the jacket has stretch binding elastic to help when zipped up fully, the added piece of fabric over the chin strap helps to not catch the zipper in the beard too. The jackets hood can be rolled up and stored in the collar.
What makes this shell different to most is the back yoke which allows air to flow through the jacket helping its breathability and avoid you from heating up when wearing the jacket.
The Rocco also has a tapered seam so the jacket can withstand a downpour and not just a light shower so don’t be afraid to push and test this jacket to its limit, because the limit is hard to reach.
Trespass have said this jacket bridges the gap between style and function to create an excellent outdoor jacket. In my opinion I complete agree, so much so this jacket has basically been my go to jacket for just anything, even light walks down the shops or to the office and what makes it great is it can survive a torrential 5 day downpour in the Welsh highlands.
Other people who have seen this jacket have commented how good the jacket looks and how comfy the jacket is as a whole, the fleece lining is a lovely bonus to a waterproof jacket, rather the light mesh you typically see.
BUT, as lovely as the fleece lining is, it also makes it somewhat difficult to put the jacket on or take off. The fleece is a little to gripping and essentially just hugs you to well so it can be annoying but once on, it’s brilliant and comfy.
During winter this fleece inside the jacket is a blessing, add a microfleece or thicker jumper below and you won’t feel the cold and as I mentioned above, the jacket is windproof so will stop that winter chill from going straight through you.
The rocco bridges the gap between style and function to create an excellent outdoor jacket.
Shaun Mills - "Kept me nice & snug, albeit a bit too warm at times (that was the weathers fault & not the jacket!). The one thing I'm not keen on is the inner 'fleece' lining is too grippy & this makes it harder than it should to get the jacket on & off. Other than that, it's really good value."
Overall this jacket is a great all round jacket and has become a personal favourite of mine and now packed in my kit on every outing. Its a shame this jacket is nearly sold out now and in writing this the blue in extra small is all that is available and who can blame anyone at £20 for this jacket - A true bargain for a superb waterproof jacket.
